InspireAll are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee currently managing leisure facilities in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, Hertsmere Borough Council and Milton Keynes Council. It is also currently the lead agency for thirty nine Family Centres in Hertfordshire. The company’s turnover is now in the region of £18 million and employs almost 1000 staff.
The organisation has operated successfully for over 17 years and the current Board are looking to recruit some new Trustees, with specific skills that could complement the skills of the 6 other Trustees and provide strategic direction and support for the management team. This will involve attending Board meetings (around 6 per year) normally in the Borehamwood area, with the potential to be a member of the Board’s sub committees. The Board are specifically interested in anyone with a medical or Health & Wellbeing background, that could bring these skills to the organisation.
This is an unpaid position other than reimbursement of reasonable expenses, however it offers a rewarding experience with involvement within an innovative community and commercially aware organisation. InspireAll are striving to be the best provider of Leisure and Family Centre Services in the locality and to positively enhance the health and wellbeing of the communities it serves.
