Deputy Nursery Manager (Starjumps Nursery, Borehamwood)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager at Starjumps Nursery Borehamwood working with an enthusiastic and friendly team.

We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting a nursery manager in providing a stimulating and varied programme of teaching and learning. The right candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of the children.

The role will involve;

• Implementing The Early years foundation stage curriculum
• Having a full awareness of child protection procedures
• A good knowledge of how to support children from disadvantage families.
• Experience of working with children will additional needs.
• Line managing staff members assisting with the development of staff training and outstanding practice.
• Contribute and implement nursery policies and procedures.
• To be part of the designated safeguarding board.
• Maintaining budgets and occupancy levels.
• Completing Supervisions and appraisals for allocated staff members.
