Fitness Instructor (The Venue Leisure Centre, Borehamwood)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Instructor at The Venue Leisure Centre working with an enthusiastic and friendly team.

The ideal candidate must be dynamic, have a passion to exceed all expectations. This is a good opportunity to build a career in health & fitness and focus on developing a portfolio in personal training.

You will also need to be qualified to a minimum of REPs Level 2 or equivalent and preferably have experience in teaching studio classes.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing friendly and supportive supervision in the Fitness Suite
• Providing customer inductions and fitness assessments
• Opportunity to deliver group exercise classes and internal Personal Training (REPs level 3 qualified only) to enhance salary
• Maintaining clean & safe facilities
• Providing challenges and social activities for customers
• Tracking membership usage & results

This is a key role in membership retention and as such, we are looking for a self-starter with good interpersonal skills. New to this role, is to deliver in-house personal training sessions to our clients, to ensure customers achieve their ambitions.

Applicants must be willing to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends, as the Centre operates on a rota system covering all these times.
