NPLQ Course
Course Content Includes: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / First Aid / Swimming Pool Supervision / Rescue & Emergency Plan/ AED
Cost of course £275 includes all materials and gives you a full NPLQ qualification. (You must be over 16 years old to attend this course).

Paediatric First Aid – Level 3
The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it is been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders.
This qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, illnesses, injuries and emergencies which can arise when looking after children.

Emergency First Aid
This course is a one day program equipping you the delegate with the skills to deal with major and minor emergencies. It gives you the confidence to prioritise casualties and administer the relevant treatment. Candidates are assessed on their practical skills throughout the course with the completion of a multiple choice question paper at the end of the day.

First Aid at Work Course (Combined Paediatrics First Aid)
The First aid at work training course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces to become a confident first aider at work. Giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. 3 day course (9am – 5.30pm)

Pool Plant Operations Course
The P.A.L.M. Academy swimming pool technical operator certificate is the flagship qualification for all pool plant operators. It is the first qualification to be accredited by the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group, meeting their syllabus standards. 3 day course (9-5pm).

IOSH Managing Safely
The IOSH Managing Safely course aims to ensure that health and safety requirements are appreciated by people like line managers, etc. This will enable them to understand and participate in the effective management of health and safety in their area of responsibility. IOSH Managing Safely is suitable for line managers, supervisors’, representatives of employee safety and small business owner across all industries and organisations. It provides a good overview of the legal obligations in the UK and gives a broad understanding of current health and safety requirements and principles. Understanding of the course material is evaluated by means of a written assessment paper consisting of 20 multi-format questions and a practical assessment. 3 Day Course (9-6pm).

Safeguarding Course
Statutory training meeting the requirement of the ‘robust 3-yearly training’ for whole staff communities. This course is essential for all staff working with Children and Young People. Exploring Duty of Care in line with LSCB (Local Safeguarding Children’s Board) procedures – this training promotes understanding of national guidance and procedures, recognising the 4 categories of abuse, listening to children and awareness raising of key challenges including e-safety, radicalisation, CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation) and FGM (Female genital mutilation).

Advanced Safeguarding Course
Statutory requirement for staff meeting ‘robust 2-yearly training’ for those who have completed Child Protection Awareness and need to gain an advanced knowledge of Child Protection. Course content includes the latest legalisation and procedures, awareness of multi-agency working, information sharing, referral processes, thresholds within child vulnerability, child protection and significant harm and an in-depth exploration of challenging topics.
