Photography & Supervision Policy

Customers are asked to minimise the use of cameras or other photographic devices. We also ask you gain the express consent of anyone that may inadvertently take a picture of. Taking photos in changing rooms, toilets or showers is prohibited. Taking pictures for official and media use requires authorisation from Centre Management.

From time to time photographs may be taken on behalf of the organisation of children participating in activities. If photos are taken for personal use, they are not covered by the Data Protection Act 1998. Photos taken for official use may be covered by the Act, so children and young people should be advised why they are being taken.

Under 8s Swimming

Main Pool

A responsible adult over the age of 18 years, or the parent/guardian is allowed to supervise up to two children under eight years old.

Teaching Pool*

A responsible adult over the age of 18 years, or the parent/guardian is allowed to supervise up to three children under the age of eight years old.

During fun sessions, the main pool ratios will apply to all pools.

All adults’ supervising children under eight years of age must accompany the children in the water & be within reach.
