Swimming is a life skill that every child should have the chance to learn.
Swim Bursary in Milton Keynes
For children aged 16 or under, living in Milton Keynes have the opportunity to apply for a swim bursary at Bletchley Leisure Centre.
The bursary offers two students, four times a year the opportunity to learn a life skill and includes:
- Free swimming assessment
- Swimming lessons for a period of six months
- Complimentary swimwear provided by our sponsors, Zoggs.
To qualify for the swimming bursary parents must meet be in receipt of one of the recognised benefits such as council tax benefit, universal credit and income support.
Swim Bursary in Hertfordshire
The Family Centre Service team are offering a swim bursary scheme to families within Hertfordshire, offering the opportunity for children to take part in 10 free swimming lessons at either Furzefield Leisure Centre, Bushey Grove Leisure Centre or The Venue Leisure Centre.
The purpose of this scheme is to offer a child and their family the opportunity to take part in lessons and encourage them to learn a life skill. The swimming lesson bursary will be available for up to 40 children, depending on meeting set criteria and will include
- Free swimming assessment pre and post lessons
- Swimming lessons for a 10 week period
