Customers will be able to:
- Enter the building for a limited period of 15 minutes
- Select their own books and issue them on the self-service kiosks – please remember to bring your library card
- Use the photocopier
- Join the library
- Use a pre-booked computer for 1 hour essential use
- Make short enquires.

96 Shenley Road is a new, iconic, multi-purpose community centre. It houses a Theatre, Cinema, the Town Library, a Youth Service area, Elstree and Borehamwood Museum, Meeting and Training rooms as well as a dividable Main Hall. The building is the result of an innovative partnership between Hertfordshire County Council, Hertsmere Borough Council, Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council, and All Saints Church, Borehamwood.
This new ‘community hub’ includes
- Theatre and Cinema
- Multi-functional hall
- State-of-the-art sound system
- Seating for 150
- Hire the whole hall – or half a hall!
It also features an outside garden, kitchen and wet room suitable for the disabled.
